Thanks for all the wonderful pictures. However, this flag is neither Bavarian (Vallendar is in the Rhineland, in the German state of Rheinland-Pfalz) nor particularly Catholic, since it is the flag of the MGV ("Männergesangsverein") Germania, i.e. a secular men's choir.
